Dave & Buster (PLAY), an owner and operator of entertainment and dining venues, reported higher-than-etimated fiscal Q4 earnings but guidend for downbeat FY18 revenue outlook.
Excluding the net tax benefit under the tax cuts and jobs act, EPS were $0.61, for the 14 weeks ended Feb. 4. That topped the $0.60 average estimate of analysts surveyed by Capital IQ.
Q4 revenue increased 12.9% to $304.9 million, from $270.2 million, in line with expectations.
For FY18, the company anticipates revenue of $1.20 billion to $1.24 billion. Analysts had projected $1.25 billion.
